Terrell Place is an iconic Washington DC building named for the brilliant civil rights leader and educator, Mary Church Terrell.
Odland created an ambient sound environment drawn from Mary Church Terrel’s musical tastes written down in her autobiography. This music forms the basis for a shifting sound environment that adapts to human usage of the building.
