O+A performed their Requiem, as part of documenta 14, in the Rotunda of Galerius, Thessaloniki Greece.
An 8 channel “Orchestra of City resonances” played live by Sam Auinger, surrounded the audience and the four virtuoso singers: Sarah Chalfy, soprano, Hai-Ting Chinn, mezzo-soprano, Christopher Sokolowski, tenor, and Mark Sans Uhleman, bass. Bruce Odland conducted. Sound, Mark Fuller. The intact acoustics of this ancient roman building were astounding. Below you can listen.
